Dreamspun kids collaboration

I was so lucky to be selected to help out with this collaboration for dreamspunkids.. they are on of my favorite shop on and off etsy coco prob has 6 skirts from them...anyways this shoot was for their fall line and I can finally share it with you!

I'm starting to think about making the new fall collection..my spring line is being photographed next week..and I was trying to get inspired..

Something I like to do is make a board of gorgeous images..and design something based on that image.. for example the spring line was all based around this picture It captivated me...and said retro...and I don't normally work in pastels but I wanted to try it this year. stretch myself

 and last years fascinators were based on birds in these pictures I started using wire because it reminded me of a cage and I liked the contrast behind soft feathers and hard wire and the symbolism behind a bird being set free out of a cage...

         so for my new  collection.. I want to entitle it... influence... and I need your help

I saw a post by talented etsy friend miss agnus from knock knocking and I couldnt help but fall in love with the idea..because she does exactly what I do with inspiration pictures she's doing something like this with a couple pieces ... And the more I thought about what she was doing the more I though that it would be amazing to make a whole collection on images that stir up something inside of people...

I'd love your help with showing me some of your favorite pictures. I need ideas, your ideas my friends.. I know you have a picture somewhere on pinterest that ever time you look at it it just screams to your soul.. I want to see it... like yesterday

The shop was featured on ety's blog today in a valentines post, It's very hard to get into their blog posts and I nearly jumped with joy when I saw one of our pictures up. orange and grey wedding

I had the opportunity to make some pieces for this fab wedding( you cant see all the clips but this is kindve what they looked like with a rosette pinning the back of their hair so soft and pretty. and the color palette orange and grey... HOW FABULous and different! I love when it's unique.Are these girls all not so stunning? best bridal party I've ever seen!thanks for sharing miss julie

2nd annual accessory exchange!

So Last year I hosted an accessory exchange and It was so fun..and I've gotten numerous e-mails asking if we will be doing it again... Last year We did a kid one..and if we have enough interest in doing kids again I will include them as well..if not it will just be for us ladies...
So my friends we are doing it again... How it works... Leave a comment here with your e-mail,  what you like to wear accessory wise and your favorite color... 
I will then send out a mass email to everyone with your partners info....contact your person via email to get each others addresses. The limit is 5-10 dollars for the accessory.The partnership that does the cutest exchange and send me the cutest pictures will both get fascinators from me! 
  So in summary once you have your partner..I pair you up with a partner you send something to her she sends something to you. Along with a cute note or something from where you live...an interesting fact ..funny story..you get the idea... then mail me a picture of your treasures for a chance to enter for teh grand prize.

I have the pleasure of working with some very creative people and I have to just thank etsy shop blessedannouncments for being so amazing..I love the new layout totally quirky and me. So affordable....and very very professional. I highly highly recommend her shop. Thanks sweet girl!
